PilotWise

About PilotWise

PilotWise is the aviation talent marketplace built specifically for pilots. Instead of scattering your licences, ratings, hours and availability across CVs, spreadsheets and recruiter inboxes, you build one verified profile, once, and let the right people find you. Think of it as LinkedIn for aviation, purpose-built around the credentials that actually decide whether a pilot gets hired.

Why we exist

Aviation hiring runs on paperwork: licence types, type ratings, medical classes, hours on type, right-to-work regions. Getting that information in front of the right recruiter, in a format they can actually filter on, still mostly happens through PDFs, phone calls and word of mouth. We built PilotWise because pilots deserve better than re-typing the same career history into a different form every time an opportunity comes up, and recruiters deserve better than sifting through inboxes for the handful of candidates who actually meet the requirements.

What we do

Pilots build a single, structured profile covering licences, type ratings, flying hours, medical status, employment history and availability. Vetted recruiters and operators search that pool using the exact filters that matter (aircraft type, hours, licence authority, right to work) and reach out directly to candidates who fit. No more sending your CV into the void; no more recruiters wading through applicants who were never going to qualify.

Who it's for

  • Pilots across airline, corporate/business jet, general aviation and contract flying, whether you're actively job-hunting or just want to be visible to the right people.
  • Recruiters and operators who are individually reviewed and approved before they can search or contact pilots, so the platform stays a genuine hiring channel, not a data dump.

Where we operate

PilotWise serves the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa, connecting pilots and operators across some of the world's busiest and fastest-growing aviation markets.

Built on trust

Credentials are sensitive, so we treat them that way. Pilot profiles are private by default, every recruiter account is manually reviewed before it gains access, and access rules are enforced at the database level, not just tucked behind a screen. Recruiters see validity status on your credentials, never your underlying documents, unless you choose to share them yourself. Trust isn't a feature we bolted on afterwards; it's the reason PilotWise is built the way it is.
