Recruitment process
Majority of recruitment targets cadets from five partner schools: CAE, L3, FTE, Skyborne, and LE. Integrated training preferred; modular training considered from selected schools. Low Hour Co-Pilot program open to all pilots regardless of background. Initial aptitude test required; passing applicants move to formal submission for recruitment review. Successful candidates invited to assessment day at CAE including group exercise, interview, and simulator assessment. Approved candidates receive type rating; outcomes typically communicated next day.
